Morris C. Beck, 88, of High Springs, went gently into the loving presence of the Lord on November 4, at his home. Morris was born in Hawthorne, raised in High Springs, and along with his wife Janet, served as a missionary with T.E.A.M. (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) in Taiwan for 30 years. His lifelong passion was to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, whom he loved and served with his whole heart.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years , Janet Beck; children Kathy Beck, Betty Ann (Bryan) Latchaw, and Don Beck; Grandchildren Bob (Brittany) Latchaw, Matt (Lyric) Latchaw, and Jana Latchaw; sister Shirley Kirby; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends around the world.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 6, from 6 – 8:00 p.m. at Forest Grove Baptist Church in Alachua. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, at 10:30 a.m. at High Springs First Baptist Church. Burial will be at High Springs Cemetery.
