Louise F. Douglass, 77, lifetime area resident, went home to be with the Lord at her earthly home on Monday Nov. 27 following a long illness. She was a Boy Scout Leader, a very strong faithful Christian woman and loved by all who knew her. She was a graduate of Santa Fe High School class of 1958 and a retired LPN from Shands after 32 years of service.
Survivors are husband, Lloyd Douglass, Fort White; sons, William (Cathy) Hines, Henry E. (Kim) Hines, of High Springs, Barry (Gail) Crews, Indiana, Steven (Darlene) Douglass, Starke; daughters, Beverly (Steve) Gay, Cindy Douglass, both Lake Butler; brother Gerald (Denise) Fowler, High Springs, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 pm at Evans-Carter Funeral Home Chapel in High Springs.
