Betty R. Beville

Betty R. Beville, 90, a lifetime resident of High Springs, passed away Sunday, April 26, in Gainesville, Florida, following a lengthy illness. She was a lifetime member of High Springs First United Methodist Church, and a graduate of High Springs High School, class of 1942.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Lowman Beville, Sr., after 67 years of marriage.

 

Survivors include one son, Woody (Diane) Beville, Brunswick, GA, one sister, Jeanette Hendricks, Lake Butler, three nephews; Joe Henderson, Lake Butler, and Ray and Richard Ryals, both of Dunedin, FL.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, with visitation one hour prior at First United Methodist Church of High Springs. Burial will follow at the High Springs Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to High Springs First United Methodist Church Youth Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 901, High Springs, FL 32655.
