In Loving Memory of

Charles Alvin Talton

 -

Alvin Talton was born December 11, 1942, to John and Lorene Talton who preceded him in death.  Alvin graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1961.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Browning, three sons, Chuck (Jennifer) Talton, Todd (Heather) Talton and Kade Talton, five grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, Caleb, Caden and Jake, and two sisters, Jackie Mullis and Lou Talton.

Alvin worked for the railroad for 40 years.  Singing and hunting brought him great joy.

It was his position in life that all would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and none would be deceived.  It was his greatest gift and his legacy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, October 10, 2015, with visitation at 1:30 pm, at High Springs First Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at High Springs Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Evans Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, FL, 386-454-2444.
