Charles Wayne “Man” McGee, 85, of Fort White, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022.  Charles was born in Moscow, Kentucky on February 21, 1937 to Charles Wayne McGee and Odie Evelyn Estes.  He married Imogene Long.

Charles was self-employed as a carpenter, electrician before retiring.  He enjoyed woodwork and restoring antique tractors.  He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.

Charles is survived by his spouse, Jean McGee; son and daughter-in-law, Dickie and Jodi McGee; daughter, Marilyn Lockhart and Kenny Borden; sister, JoAnne Denton; granddaughters, Candi Caldwell, Colby Ross, Kayla McKnight, Emily Berner; grandson, Dustin Green; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Charles McGee; mother, Odie McGee Ring; brother, Gaylen McGee; and sisters, Eleanor Ring and Glenda Borden.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 173 SW Shiloh St, Fort White, FL 32038.  Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m.
