Evelyn G. Feagle, 89, of High Springs, Florida, went home to be with her Lord on August 25, 2018 at Tri-County Nursing Home in Trenton, Florida. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring Maw, beloved sister, wonderful Aunt Eve, and very caring friend. Her family and friends will miss her.
She liked cooking and giving it away, she also liked cooking and baking for her family and friends that came to eat at her table. She also loved to go fishing and work in the yard.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie; parents, Irving and Claudia Goff; two brothers, J. D. and Sid Goff; and two sisters, Vera Holder and Ruth Coleman; and daughter Judy Layfield.
She is survived by daughter, Jean (Terrell) Hollingsworth; grandchildren, Eddie (Sandy) Hollingsworth, Tracy Stephens, Ricky (Denise) Mullins; great-great grandchildren, Dani (Shane) O’Steen, Whitney Stephens, Lindsey Bigelow; great-great-great grandchildren, Kadin O’Steen, Macy O’Steen, Aubree Stephens; one brother, Howard Goff of Apopka, Florida; and one sister, Honi Suggs of Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Evelyn was a member of Fort White Baptist church, For White, Florida.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Fort White Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour before. Burial at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Lake City, Florida will follow the funeral service.
