Gregg Brannan

In Loving Memory of

Gregg Brannan

 -

Mr. Gregg Brannan of Gainesville passed away earlier this month at the age of 69.

The co-owner of Leonardo’s Pizza Millhopper for nearly 40 years, Gregg was a friend to many in the community.  He loved pizza, he wore his work  on his sleeves, and, only sometimes, he wore pants. An inside the box thinker who would bury his head in whatever he was doing.

Born and raised in Springfield, Illinois before moving to Florida during high school, Gregg attended (barely) the University of Florida and earned a degree in Advertising. Favorite pastimes included Gator football, classic rock, a good dirty joke, the beach, and going to his favorite spot in Micanopy off of I-75…the Christmas House.

He is survived by his two children, Mandee and Chris; five grandchildren, his brother, Gary, and his family; and a “Not Only Sauce and Dough” commercial that will seemingly never go away.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Depot Park Pavilions on March 11 from 2-3 pm. See Facebook Event for more details.
