Maxine Adams 77, formerly of Alachua, FL, passed away July 18, 2016 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL, after a long illness.  She worked at the GE Plant in Alachua, FL for many years.  She is survived by a sister, Susan (George) Wilson of Alachua, FL; a brother, James Arnold (Susy) Douglas of High Springs, FL; Several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncle and many dear friends.

There will be a viewing Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 5PM to 7PM at Evans-Carter Funeral Home 18724 N Main St High Springs, FL.   A graveside service will be held at Newnansville Cemetery in Alachua, FL, Thursday July 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM.

Arrangements are under the care of Evans-Carter Funeral Home High Springs, FL 386-454-2444.
