Norma Diane Herndon

Norma Diane Herndon, 72, passed away June 30, 2019 at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.  She was born on September 26, 1946 at Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Quinn Herndon and Laura Sauls Herndon.

Norma was a corporate recruiter with Compusearch Associates, Ltd of Atlanta, Georgia.

She is survived by two granddaughters Lily Chandler and Emma Scott Chandler of Atlanta, Georgia; her sisters Elaine Davis (Dean) of High Springs, Florida and Quinell Swick of Alachua, Florida, and her brother Bryan Herndon (Margaret) of Benton, AR; 15 great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Carmen Dyan Chandler, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister Virginia Herndon Dilmore from Cottondale, Florida,  her brothers Edward A. Buckels from Dallas, Texas and Charles E. Herndon from Atlanta, Georgia.

There will be a graveside memorial service for Norma on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the High Springs Cemetery, 23998 NW 192nd Avenue, High Springs, Florida.
