Pablo “Neri” Hernandez, 86, of Fort White, Florida, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020.  Neri was born in Matanzas, Cuba on April 28, 1934 to Angel Hernandez and Blanca Ceballos

Neri was married to Claudelia “Lila” Silverio on May 26, 1958; they were married for 62 years.

Neri was a missionary for the Soldiers of the Cross church.  He enjoyed dabbling in the mechanics of everything.  He enjoyed farming in his later life. He was also actively involved in his church and all of the it’s charities.

He is survived by his wife, Claudelia Hernandez of Fort White, FL; his daughter, Hana Wingfield of Fort White, FL; his sister, Loida Hernandez of Miami, FL; and his grandchildren, Niel (Melissa)Wingfield of Fort White, FL, Andrew Wingfield of Miami, FL, Otto (Ashley) Wingfield of Fort White, FL, and Bryan (Adlai) Wingfield of Fort White, FL.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Josue Hernandez and Marolo Hernandez; and his sister, Ninfa Hernandez.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the High Springs Cemetery. A graveside visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m.
