Patricia “Jannette” Boyd, 82, of High Springs, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Jannette was born in St. Joseph, Tennessee on July 5, 1939 to Clyde and Catherine Swearingin.  Jannette was married to Walter Arlen Boyd for 45 years.

She graduated from Bay County High School where she received a high school diploma.  Jannette worked as a title Agent for U. S. Title prior to her retirement.  She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She loved watching Gator football and Christmas movies! She was also the Queen of Rummikub!  She was also a member of First Baptist Church of High Springs and a co-teacher of Sunday School for many years.

Jannette was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Catherine Swearingin; her husband, Walter Boyd; a son, Steven Boyd, and a sister, Ruth Platzer.

Jannette is survived by her sons, Alan (Linda) Boyd of High Springs and Richard (Judy) Boyd of Fort White; a daughter, Kippy (Mark) Limbaugh of Loxahatchee; and daughter-in-law, Julie Hearn; sister, Brenda Ricotta; brother, Clyde Swearingin, Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of High Springs. The visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Evans Carter Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the funeral at the High Springs Cemetery.
