Stewart H. Hendricks, 68

Stewart H. Hendricks 68, a resident of High Springs, passed away Tuesday, August 25th, at North Florida Regional Medical Center.  He was a native of Kingsford, Michigan, a veteran of the US. Army, having served in Viet Nam.  He was a diehard Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Braves fan, and an avid poker player.  He was a family man with a rough exterior, but had a heart of gold.  His grandchildren were the love of his life.

 

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hendricks of High Springs, 2 sons, Timothy Michael and Ryan Patrick Hendricks, both of High Springs, one daughter, Heather Lynn (Anthony Boo) Roberts, High Springs, one sister, Sue Ann O’Connor, Norwalk, WI, Step-brother Gary Strohmeier, Roxana, IL, brothers-in-law Gabriel Labrador, Coral Springs, FL, Dale (Florence), Randy (Linda), Joe (Jeannine), Sharon (Ray), and Tammy, mother-in-law Jennie Lamb, 4 grandchildren, Michael, Kaelea, Andrew and Roman, God-daughter Theresa, nieces, Rhonda, Renee, Shelly, Jenna, Kristen, Ann, and Kathryn, nephews Jimmy, Dusty, Brad, Roy, Nathan, Eric, Adam, Miles, and Gabriel, Jr.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Peggy Hendricks, brother, Jeff and Sister Judy.

 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Evans Carter Funeral Home, in High Springs, 386-454-2444
