Teresa Mae (King) Matamoros, 58, passed away on March 11, 2021, in New Port Richey, Florida.
Visitation will be held at Evans Carter Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18th between 5-7 pm.
Funeral service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church on Friday, March 19th at 2 pm with Reverend Earl Tuten officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Teresa was born in Perry, Florida to Albert and Nellie King on October 24, 1962. She went to high school at Fort White where she enjoyed cheerleading. Teresa loved her Lord and was confident in her salvation. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to beaches, sunbathing, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She moved around but never leaving her home state of Florida, which made her happy.
Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Albert Dewey King; mother, Nellie Ruth King; and sisters, Jewell Ruth Yeargin and Margaret Ann Hollingsworth.
Teresa is survived by her sister and brothers, Valley Ann Ritch, Albert Dewey King Jr. (Dicky), and Carl David King; her children, Joshua Driscal Edwards, Jared Samuel Edwards, Alexandria Jade Santana, Aric Ricardo Santana; grandchildren, James Driscal Edwards II, Owen Ryder, Christian Ryder, Christina Ryder, Kairo Santana, and Kosta Santana.
