Thomas Lindsey Fitch III, age 74 of High Springs, Florida passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.  Tom was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on June 3, 1945 to parents Helen C. Fitch and father Thomas Lindsey Fitch II.

Tom was married to Kristine Fitch on September 25, 1993. He is survived by his wife Kristine Fitch, daughters Kelly Stribling, Brie Suncine and Brooke Stalnaker; son-in-laws Tom Stribling and Kevin Suncine and 6 beautiful grandchildren Shelby Stribling, Sean Stribling, Dawson Suncine, Lindsey Suncine, JD Stalnaker II and Brantley Stalnaker.

Tom graduated High School in 1964 from Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia, and received an Associates of Arts degree from Palm Beach Junior College in Lake Worth, FL.  He then began his career at Pratt & Whitney where he worked for 36 years within the Art Department then Quality Assurance group and retired in December 2000.

Tom was a talented artist with focus on birds and nature.  His level of talent was recognized by the Norton Art Gallery in West Palm Beach displaying one of his works. His impressive art collection remains in the possession of his wife and daughters.  His other passions included Hot Rod Cars, attending car shows, spending time with his wife on their beautiful 10-acre property in High Springs and enjoying family time with his daughters and grandchildren and his love of all their family pets.

He will forever be remembered for being a loving loyal and cherished husband and an incredible father who shared his kindness, love, constant support, wisdom and never-ending optimism to three daughters who will miss him dearly.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents Helen C. Fitch, Thomas Lindsey Fitch II; in-laws Mary G. Elms and Mathew R. Elms and his former wife Jill Post, mother of his first two daughters Kelly Stribling and Brie Suncine.

Due to the current health concerns and safety of our friends and family a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date and time. The family will communicate this information through a memorial Facebook page titled: Thomas Lindsey Fitch III Celebration of Life
