Tom Elroy “Red” Albritton, 88, of High Springs, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 peacefully at his residence. Tom was born in MacClenny, Florida on January 23, 1933 to Lawrence Bascom and Edwina Louise Albritton.

Tom was married to his beloved wife Myra Cumi Albritton for 54 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church of Lake City, Florida.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Arnau of High Springs, Florida; his brother, Harry (Esther) Albritton of Lake City, Florida; his sister-in-Law Esther Albritton of Washington State; his 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Cumi Albritton; his sons, David Melton and Luther Melton; his daughter, Rebecca Olheiser; his brothers, Charles Albritton and his wife, Barbara, Bascom Albritton, and Joneth Albritton; and his sister, Isabel Vining and her husband Bee.

The graveside funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the High Springs Cemetery, 23998 NW 192nd Avenue.  The Reverend S. J. Brown will be officiating.
