Violet Davis Stalnaker

In Loving Memory of

Violet Davis Stalnaker

 -

Violet Davis Stalnaker, 80, of Fort White, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on May 3, 2020.

She was an outstanding and dedicated nurse at Alachua General Hospital in Gainesville, Fl for over 20 years. She was a lifelong believer and follower of Jesus Christ, and an active member of the local congregation.

Violet truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; travel, surrounding herself with family and friends, reading, playing cards, cooking and baking, and had an easy smile, that will deeply be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Stalnaker; daughter and son-in-law, Louanne and Donald Bussey; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Elaine Davis; daughter-in-law, Tammy Davis; brother, Loy Harrell; brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Erlene Harrell; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Bob Marshall; grandchildren: Donald Ray, Amber, Lauren, Lindsay, Paige, Joey, Jordan, Jaret, and Jayce; great-grandchildren: Adalyn, Tessa, Elias, Emmett, Mika, Brecken, Zen, Davis, and Dylan; and many nieces and nephews.

Violet is preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Davis; son, Joe Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Les and Georganne Harrell; and her parents, Amos Harrell and Nell Dalton.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the High Springs Cemetery, 23998 NW 192nd Ave, High Springs, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Violet’s name may be sent to Peaceful Paths, 2100 NW 53rd Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, FL 32653 or you may donate online at https://www.peacefulpaths.org/donate.
