Wanda Bryan Whitaker, 78, of High Springs, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Wanda was born on February 13, 1943 to Waldon and Mary Malphurs Bryan.  Wanda was married to Daniel Whitaker, Jr for 34 years. She graduated from Santa Fe High School, class of 1961.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Waldon and Mary Bryan; her husband, Daniel Whitaker, Jr.; her son, Garland Strickland, Jr; and brother and sister-in-law Myron and Barbara Ann Bryan.

She is survived by nephew, Clint (Linda) Bryan of Alachua, FL; nieces, Robin Bryan (Donnie) Odom of Alachua, FL, Stella Bryan (Bubba) Burnham of Alachua, FL; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins and caretakers, Janet Malphurs of High Springs, FL and Nancy (Phillip) Gonzales of High Springs, FL; her best friends for over 70 years, Cathy Cain and Nancy Imler, both of Alachua, FL; and numerous cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Spring Hill Methodist Church at Traxler, 23300 Old Bellamy Rd, Alachua, FL.  Burial will follow the service at the Spring Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
