Reverend William H. Anderson, 90, of Alachua, departed this life Tuesday evening at E.T. York Care Center. He pastored many Baptist Churches for 65 years. He was an avid gardener and retired from the University of Florida Department of Agronomy after 21 years.
Survived by two sons, William H. Anderson jr. and Bruce Anderson both of Alachua, one sister Maggie Mauldin of High Springs and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, October 28th at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with visitation 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at LaCrosse. Those who wish may donate to Haven Hospice in lieu of flowers.
