Wynona G. Trevarthan was born on September 10, 1931 in Louisville (Barbour County), Alabama to father Judge Clayton Medley and mother Sallie Bob Howell.  She grew up in Barbour County and attended school in both Louisville and Clayton, Alabama.

Her vocations were varied depending on her location.  She worked for V. J. Elmore Co., Ben Franklin Five and Dime, Continental Telephone Company, General Telephone Co., Wilson Oil Co., Erwin Braddy Communications, Lake Blackshire Marina and retired from Alltel in August 1994.

She was predeceased by her parents; three husbands, Willis S. Creel, Wesley B. Golden and William L. Trevarthan, Sr.; daughter, Susie (Marvin) Blankenship; son, Jim (Angie) Golden; grandchildren, Jennifer, John, Jamie, Jonathan, Jack, Noelle, Alexis, Danica, Wyatt, and Trevor;  and great-grandchildren, Jamison, Georgia and Brock.

At Wynona’s request, there will be no funeral services.  In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in her name to the charity of your choice.
